Mike joined The Glens Golf Group at Possum Trot Golf Club in March 2007 after a national search to find an academy director-teaching professional that could provide the very best golf lesson experience for golfers of all ages, abilities and skill levels.  Mike's credentials include:

• 2006 Top 6 Teacher in the US - PGA of America
• 3-Time PGA Section Teacher of the Year
• 2006 Indiana PGA Teacher of the Year
• 1998 Tri-State PGA Teacher of the Year (PA, MD, WV)

Tom Varinecz

Tom Varinecz, SGG Certified Instructor
Tom has worked as Mike Passmore's assistant since March 2007 and has completed the Simply Great Golf Instructor Training Program. Tom has a friendly, motivating style that students appreciate. Tom conducts satisfaction guaranteed golf lessons in both Private and Group formats for the Simply Great Golf Academy and works as both a lead and assistant instructor.

Larry Gillespie

Larry Gillespie, SGG Academy Coordinator

Larry is the man our instructors rely on to insure the academy is a smooth, organized operation. Academy students and prospective students find Larry very helpful and professional with a fun spirit. Larry also manages the practice facility operation and welcomes all customers with a natural warm smile.
