Heather Glen Golf Links and Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf Links are among the best courses in the nation, according to the readers of Golf World magazine. Heather Glen and Glen Dornoch were also ranked among the top 27 golf facilities in S.C. when the magazine announced its 2010 Golf World Readers Choice Awards online September 23.

The “State By State Recognitions” list was compiled after more than 46,000 evaluations were submitted by the magazine's readers. Evaluations were based on 13 criteria, including quality of the course, conditioning, reputation/prestige, value and speed of play.

“We're thrilled to be recognized by the readers of Golf World,” said Jason Himmelsbach, director of marketing at The Glens Golf Group, which owns and operates Heather Glen and Glen Dornoch. “This is a true people's poll where the average guy gets to vote for his favorites. We feel honored that those who have visited Heather Glen and Glen Dornoch appreciate the courses and how hard our staff works to give them a great golf experience.”
